Read as part of the Austen In August reading challenge, The Trouble With Horses was a fun, quick, light, and delightful read!

Elizabeth Bennet’s and Darcy’s characters are changed a bit, but in what P&P variation are they not? I think this was a refreshing “what if” story, and a great length when one would like to take an afternoon to oneself, or a trip to the beach or pool.
